Job Description

Children's Dentistry for Alabama is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist in our Tuscaloosa office. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and have a positive experience at our practice. You will work closely with our dental team to provide support and assistance in all aspects of patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed dental hygienist in the state of Alabama

Current with Alabama Dental Hygiene Continuing Education hours

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform required dental procedures

Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care

Desire to serve children in the community through healthcare

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with taking dental radiographs

Knowledge of dental terminology, sterilization, and infection control

Infiltration License

Responsibilities:

Complete dental hygiene procedures and accurately identify needs of patients

Assist dental professionals in providing high-quality dental care to patients

Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment as needed

Assist with taking dental x-rays

Maintain accurate patient records and effective communication with patients
