At Turtle Town Dental, our #1 priority is to provide personalized, high quality dental care to each and every patient. We’re committed to treating patients using the most recent advancements in dental science in a welcoming, caring and comfortable environment. We provide an all-in-one dental solution including general and specialty.
We are in need of a dedicated, enthusiastic experienced dental hygienist who wants to take care & spend quality time interacting with our wonderful patients and work with a fun dental family! Position is part time, Mondays and Tuesdays, 8am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
In this role, you will:
Review patient health and dental history
Counsel patients on proper nutrition and oral health
Accurately chart each patient's periodontal health
Perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis to patients
Communicate with patients in an understandable and professional way
Perform scaling, root planing, and selective polishing
Provide radiographs for patients as prescribed by the doctor
Check on patient comfort during treatment and help alleviate patient anxiety
Take accurate notes on the provided treatment
Teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients
Apply fluoride
Qualifications
IN Dental Hygienist License (Required)
Local Anesthesia Permit (Preferred)
