Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and providing exceptional patient care. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will deliver professional dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health practices, and support the overall success of our practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for at every visit.
Part time or full time position available. We can be flexible with the schedule.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records
Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and overall oral hygiene habits
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency
Provide postoperative instructions and answer patient questions to ensure understanding and compliance
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio
Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, assessments, and patient education
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control standards, and radiography techniques
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients of all ages
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all regulatory requirements
