Registered Dental Hygienist

Clinton Family Dental, LLC is an established, private, woman-owned, general dentistry practice, and is currently seeking a full time dental hygienist to join our dynamic team for three days a week (Mondays 10am-6pm, Tuesdays 8am-5pm, and Thursdays 8am-5pm), with the optional opportunity to work Wednesdays as our practice continues to grow.

Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest research in order to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. Pay range: $40 to $44

As our perfect match you:

Have the ability to maintain a current license/certification in Wisconsin

Have experience taking and recording dental histories and patient records and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, to facilitate the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations

Have a thorough understanding of how to remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.

Can readily instruct and educate patients in oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take quality X-rays, and apply fluoride/ sealants

Help maintain patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized

Are willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization

Are articulate, service-oriented, and have great eye/hand coordination in order to provide gentle and thorough hygiene care to our patients

Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development

Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service

Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position

Your history likely shows:

Associate’s Degree from an ADA accredited dental hygienist school

Current Wisconsin state licensure

Preferably one year of dental hygiene experience- new grads encouraged to apply

Certification and ability to administer local anesthetic

Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it

Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others

Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and, if necessary, on the phone.
