Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist for Friday-Saturday to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting a positive patient experience. This role involves working closely with the dental team to deliver comprehensive dental hygiene services in a friendly and professional environment. Experience with Oryx software and strong communication skills are highly valued. Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to individual needs
Assist in the application of sealants, SDF/ fluoride treatments, and other preventive procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Oryx software
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
Support patients by creating a comfortable environment during treatments
Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards in the dental office
Experience
Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Familiarity with Oryx or other dental practice management software is highly desirable
Bilingual skills are considered a strong asset for serving diverse patient populations
Excellent customer service skills combined with professionalism are essential for fostering positive patient relationships
