Job Summary
We are a private practice seeking a skilled RDH to provide exceptional patient care during a maternity leave coverage starting mid-July 2026 through November 2026. The schedule is Monday & Wednesday from 7:30 to 4:30 with an hour lunch. This is a well established practice with great doctors, patients and staff.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry, with expertise in delivering comprehensive dental hygiene services in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of infection control, patient education, and clinical documentation, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to promote optimal oral health.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews, to inform treatment planning.
Utilize Dentrix for accurate documentation and record keeping.
Educate patients on dental terminology, oral health maintenance, and preventive care strategies.
Laser certification desirable
Skills
Proficiency in dental software applications such as Dentrix.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Familiarity with infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
Ability to review documentation accurately and ensure proper dental coding practices are followed.
