Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs measurement and medical history review.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventative care, and treatment options.
Take dental radiographs digitally while maintaining strict infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using a hybrid of paper charts and Eaglesoft.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and documentation review.
Support infection control procedures through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide seamless patient care, especially in pediatric dentistry settings when applicable.
Document treatment notes accurately, review medical coding for billing purposes, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
Previous experience working as a Registered Dental Hygienist is preferred.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology.
Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and vital signs monitoring is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and documentation review processes is essential.
