Job Duties – Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, polishing, and periodontal maintenance
Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient charts
Take dental X-rays
Screen for signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other oral health concerns
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
Assist dentists during examinations by providing charting and clinical observations
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes using dental software systems
Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance standards
Ensure patient comfort by creating a welcoming, professional experience
Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to support smooth daily operations
Stay current on hygiene techniques, industry standards, and continuing education requirements
Requirements/Preferred Qualities
Active Registered Dental Hygienist license (state required)
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy
Friendly, professional chairside manner
Office Hours
Monday - 9am - 5pm
Tuesday - 9am - 6pm
Wednesday - 9am - 6pm
Thursday - 9am - 5pm
Lunch 1pm - 2pm daily
