Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and record-keeping.
Perform vital signs checks and assist in medical imaging as needed.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow for the dentist.
Educate patients on oral health care, proper hygiene practices, and preventive measures.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
Candidates should possess:
Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and infection control protocols.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
