Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a comprehensive understanding of dental hygiene practices, with expertise in providing preventive oral health services, patient education, and assisting in clinical procedures. As a key member of our practice, you will deliver exceptional dental care while ensuring compliance with all safety and confidentiality standards. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a welcoming environment that promotes optimal oral health outcomes for our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Conduct initial patient assessments, including medical history review, to inform treatment planning.
Digital Dental X-rays
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable.
Experience
Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and management of medical records.
Expertise in infection prevention management, including sterilization procedures and infection control protocols aligned with healthcare standards.
Experience with dental x-ray techniques and proficiency in operating dental equipment safely and effectively.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on dental care practices clearly and compassionately.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Ability to work efficiently within a team using chairside assisting skills while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Dr. Michelle F Kline and her team are dedicated to providing top-quality dental care in a comfortable and caring environment, where patient education and comfort are top priorities.
