Job Description
Temporary Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Duration: Immediate start – end of September 2026
Schedule: 1–4 days per week (Mon-Thurs), 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible scheduling available) Applicants need not be available all three months, partial coverage of any amount of days will be considered.
Location: Thunder Bay, ON
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis to provide coverage through the end of September. This role is ideal for someone looking for a short-term, flexible position in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting
Take and develop dental radiographs as required
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Work collaboratively with the dentist and clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
Current registration in good standing with the CDHO
Strong clinical and communication skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Professional, dependable, and patient-centered approach
