Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist – Part-Time | 2 Days Per Week
Montclair Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team 2 days per week in Dumfries, VA.

We are a well-established private dental practice serving the Dumfries/Prince William County community. We pride ourselves on providing quality, personalized care in a friendly and supportive environment.

We are looking for a hygienist who enjoys building relationships with patients, takes pride in providing thorough clinical care, and works well as part of a team.

What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive preventive hygiene care
Perform adult and child prophylaxis
Perform periodontal maintenance and scaling & root planing (SRP)
Perform periodontal charting and assessments
Utilize ultrasonic instrumentation/Cavitron
Take digital dental radiographs as needed
Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient education
Review periodontal findings and communicate recommendations with patients
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix
Work closely with the dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care
What We’re Looking For:
Current Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
Current CPR certification
Dental hygiene experience preferred
Comfortable performing SRP and periodontal maintenance
Experience with ultrasonic scaling/Cavitron
Dentrix experience is a plus
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Someone who genuinely enjoys working with patients and takes pride in their work
