Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and adherence to safety protocols
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver seamless, high-quality care
Handle patient inquiries with professionalism, providing excellent customer service in a bilingual environment if applicable
Experience
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice
Prior experience working in a dental office setting.
Proficiency in using dental management software is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
