Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to cover a maternity leave which can become a permanent position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment. Duties
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately using Cleardent
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient education on treatment plans and post-procedure care
Take dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of all dental instruments and operatories
Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring a smooth clinic operation and excellent customer service
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Experience with Cleardent or similar dental software preferred
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
