Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced full-time Dental Hygienist (4 days/week, about 33-35 hours per week) to join our fee-for-service General Dentistry practice. Our office is dedicated to delivering top-tier care while ensuring a positive and comfortable patient experience.

You’ll be working alongside two doctors who care for families and patients of all ages. Our practice is equipped with the latest technology to support your work and enhance efficiency. Hygiene appointment times are scheduled to allow optimum care with patient and providers best interest in mind.

Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral health evaluations
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental x-ray equipment while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to individual needs
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR) documenting all patient interactions and treatment details
Follow infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to uphold the highest standards of infection control and HIPAA compliance
Skills
Proficiency with Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and medical coding
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care
Experience with pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients in a compassionate manner
Skilled in dental equipment operation, including dental x-ray machines and other diagnostic tools
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs
Ability to perform patient care tasks confidently while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
