Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of the dental practice. Prior experience with dental software such as Dentrix, and familiarity with orthodontics or pediatrics, are highly valued.

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment
Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental management software
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
Pay: $38.32-$61.32 per hour
