Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties
Clean and polish patients' teeth and assess the health of gums, screening for diseases.

Perform deep cleanings/root planing.

Apply fluoride.

Take dental X-rays, including iTero scans.

Manage patient records using Dentrix software while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Collect medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments.

Provide excellent patient care answering patient inquiries.

Skills
Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and taking X-rays.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.

Knowledge of general dentistry procedures along with specialized fields like prosthodontics and endodontics.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the dental team and provide clear instructions to patients.

Familiarity with LD Pankey and Pete Dawson comprehensive dentistry and occlusion is helpful but not required.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
