Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energized role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while ensuring proper infection prevention protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health
Assist during procedures with chairside support, including handling dental instruments and managing dental equipment efficiently
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Open Dental
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding medical records
Follow infection prevention management guidelines through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to uphold safety standards in the clinic
Qualifications
Positive, dependable, and willing to adapt/learn personality.
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license through the Utah Division of Professional Licensing
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Local anesthesia license
Previous dental experience (education/training or work-related) necessary.
Open Dental knowledge is a plus.
Hours are Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 8-4 single booked
