Job Description
Overview
Our easy going office is seeking to add a team member. We are a private practice with one Doctor, 2 RDA's and 3 Hygienists. One of our hygienists recently retired and due to high demand for more Hygiene appointments we are needing to hire a new RDH to replace her position.
The position would be for one day per week. You can choose a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday schedule. Office hours are 8:00-5:00 Tuesday and Wednesday and 8:00-4:00 on Thursday. So a Thursday schedule would only be a 7 hour day. Tues/Wed are 8 hour days.
Our staff is friendly and helpful to make your day go smooth. Hygiene appointments are one hour per patient. We have many long term patients and our Hygienists have worked with us for over 15 years which has developed a strong, committed patient base. We look forward to adding another team member to continue providing compassionate patient care.
Salary is negotiable. Start date is to be determined
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Take dental X-rays as needed.
Record medical history and vital signs of patients accurately.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment
