Job Description
PART TIME POSITION - WEDSDAYS ONLY 10AM-7PM
Overview
The ideal candidate must posses a Florida license, license to administer anesthesia, and be available to work Saturdays.

In this role, you will utilize your expertise to promote optimal oral health, educate patients on dental hygiene practices, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental radiographs using medical imaging equipment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to improve long-term oral health outcomes.
Review and document medical records, treatment plans, and dental terminology accurately in Open Dental
Maintain infection control standards by practicing aseptic techniques and adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, providing chairside assistance with dental instruments and materials as needed.
Ensure all documentation review, including medical coding and recordkeeping, complies with regulatory guidelines.
Experience
Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a general or pediatric dentistry setting is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Open Dental is preferred
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques is required.
Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging procedures, and review medical records accurately.
