Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to tailor personalized care plans.
Take X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories
Follow strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety for patients and staff.
Monitor vital signs and recognize signs of medical emergencies or health concerns requiring further attention.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a friendly environment for young patients and managing their specific needs with patience and care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality during all documentation review and communication processes.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general setting with familiarity in dental assisting procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding standards.
Proficiency with Abeldent is an asset.
Hands-on experience with chairside assisting during various dental procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques to create a positive experience for young patients.
