Registered Dental Hygienist – Full-Time or Part-Time
Nakoma Dental | Madison, WI
Pay: $48–$52 per hour
Nakoma Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Established in 1963, Nakoma Dental has been serving the Madison community for generations. We are a private dental practice focused on providing high-quality, personalized care in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Provide preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as appropriate
Perform periodontal probing and charting
Take diagnostic dental radiographs
Perform oral cancer screenings and preventive assessments
Apply fluoride and sealants as appropriate
Educate patients about oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
Review patients' medical and dental histories
Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Collaborate with the dentist regarding patient needs and treatment recommendations
Follow infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, and office protocols
Help create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient
Qualifications
Current Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Gentle, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
Dependable and able to work well as part of a team

We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates and offer flexibility in scheduling. There are no evening or weekend hours.
