Job Overview
Our Dental Team is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our practice! In this role, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting our team in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients achieve healthy smiles and possess strong communication skills to educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth and removing plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with professionalism and efficiency.
Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized and maintained according to safety protocols.
Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, addressing their concerns with patience and understanding.
Maintain a clean, organized treatment area to promote a safe and efficient workflow.
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding dental practice standards.
Qualifications
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.
Proven experience working as a dental hygienist is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control protocols, and radiography techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
