Job Summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our welcoming dental practice. We are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and with your expertise we will help promote optimal oral health and deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software
Support the dental team with sterilization, instrument preparation
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with a friendly attitude
Provide comprehensive Dental Hygiene care, including cleanings, periodontal therapy and preventative treatments.
Take digital radiographs and maintain accuraate patient records
Work collaboratively with our Dentists and team to deliver outstanding patient care.
Help create a comfortable and positaive experience for every patient.
Skills
Proficiency in dental office management software
Knowledge of all Periodontal conditions and able to speak on the topics professionally, knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Ability to speak with patients regarding outstanding treatment and to treatment plan efficiently
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Previous Canadian Dental experience, working within a busy dental office environment and able to maintain a full schedule
Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic demeanor
Familiarity with dental equipment, sterilization protocols, and infection control standards
