Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, committed to promoting oral health, and thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and periodontal assessments
Take and process dental radiographs as required
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures when needed
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Abeldent
Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up care efficiently
Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in accordance with infection control and IPAC standards
Deliver exceptional patient experiences by addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications & Skills
Registered Dental Hygienist with current licensure in good standing
Experience with Abeldent or other dental practice management software preferred
Strong knowledge of general dentistry, preventive care, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
