Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment plans tailored to their needs.
Maintain accurate electronic health record
Monitor and record vital signs before procedures, ensuring patient stability throughout treatment.
Experience
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and general dentistry procedures.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix Ascend is highly desirable.
Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, providing clear instructions and education.
Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including aseptic techniques and sterilization processes.
