Registered Dental Hygienist

This role is open due to a valued team member relocating as part of a military assignment.

We are a family oriented dental practice in Haughton, LA looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our team. We strive to maintain a relaxed office environment where patient care comes first. Our office offers a reasonable patient load and regular hours, with Fridays and weekends off. We are looking for a full-time or part-time employee.

Qualifications:
Current Registered Dental Hygienist licensure is required
Understanding and knowledge of HIPPA privacy rules
Must have high ethical standards and value patient care above all else
Must be a service-oriented team player that maintains a positive attitude
Proven experience as a dental hygienist is a plus but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Excellent communication and people skills
Well-organized and reliable
Responsibilities Include:
Perform the duties of a dental hygienist, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, radiographs, intraoral photos, etc...

Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, proper brushing techniques)
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Office hours for Hygienist:
M-W 8AM to 5PM
Th 7AM to 3PM
