About the Role:
Nidhi Gupta DDS is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice in Hayward, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's lives every day.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients
Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings in patient charts
Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with office protocols
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
Screen patients for oral health conditions including gum disease, cavities, and oral cancer
Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software
Requirements:
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of California
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience with dental X-rays and proficiency in digital radiography
Knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care best practices
Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office environment
