Position Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance)
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting
Take and interpret dental radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment plans
Assist in co-diagnosis and communicate findings with the dentist
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Eaglesoft software
Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards
Provide a comfortable and positive patient experience
Skills
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient documentation and scheduling.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with the team and patients.

Experience in pediatric dentistry, including working with children in a compassionate and engaging manner.

Ability to perform patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, assessing patient needs, and providing clear instructions.

Familiarity with infection control procedures, sterilization processes, and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing patient education.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
