Howard Dentistry is a private, locally owned dental practice that has proudly served our community for 19 years. We’re a patient-focused office dedicated to providing exceptional care in a friendly, team-oriented environment. Our team includes two doctors and three full-time hygienists who love what they do and support one another every day. We take pride in building long-term relationships with our patients and providing quality dentistry with a personal touch.
Position Details
We’re looking for a caring and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! New graduates welcome!
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch from 12:00–1:00 PM)
NO Fridays!!!
Responsibilities
Provide thorough dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Take digital radiographs as needed for patient care
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Assist with sterilization and help maintain cleanliness of instruments and operatories
Work closely with doctors and fellow team members to ensure smooth patient flow
Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-centered environment
Qualifications
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the State of Tennessee
Current CPR certification
Eaglesoft knowledge is a plus
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a true team player
