Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Our privately owned, family-oriented dental practice is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team . We take pride in providing an elevated level of care in a calm, welcoming environment where both patients and team members feel valued.

What you’ll do
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and medical history reviews, to tailor care effectively
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care strategies
Utilize dental imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that align with general dentistry protocols and patient needs
Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff
Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with HIPPA regulations
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental coding to enhance your contributions to the practice
Basic qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and infection control protocols
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous
Experience with dental software
Ability to communicate effectively with patients
