Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols to assist in diagnosis.
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
Provide compassionate patient support by addressing questions, alleviating concerns, and promoting positive experiences.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
Proven experience in performing dental cleanings and patient education.
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, infection control standards, and radiography procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
