Registered Dental Hygienist

Our private general dental practice located in Hillsborough, NJ is seeking a part-time registered dental hygienist who has excellent communication skills and a gentle touch. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable and is a positive team player. Our office hours are Mon: 8am-5pm, Tue: 8am-2pm, Wed: 8am-6pm and Thurs: 8am-2pm. This position is for Wednesdays 8am-6pm (negotiable for 9am start); potential to add hours in future.

Responsibilities:
Perform standard dental hygiene procedures, including S/RP
Collect medical and dental histories from patients
Periodontal charting
Digital X-rays, intraoral photos
Oral hygiene instruction/patient education
Maintain accurate medical records
Follow infection control protocols
Qualification and skill requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene required
Current NJ RDH license required
Excellent verbal communication skills
Experience with Dentrix and Dexis preferred, but not required
