Registered Dental Hygienist

About the Role:
Holland Free Health Clinic is a nonprofit clinic providing free dental, vision, hearing, chiropractic, and more to uninsured adults in Ottawa County. Thanks to grant funding, we're hiring a licensed Dental Hygienist for a flexible part-time position — approximately one day or two days per week — to help us provide screenings and cleanings for adults who otherwise couldn't access dental care.

This is a unique opportunity to practice hygiene the way many of us wish we still could: no production quotas, no insurance billing, and a patient population that is deeply grateful for the care they receive.

Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene screenings and cleanings for adult patients
Take and review patient health histories relevant to oral care
Identify and document findings for review by supervising/volunteer dentists
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with clinic protocols
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Michigan Dental Hygiene license (RDH)
Comfortable working with an underserved adult patient population
Strong communication and patience-driven bedside manner
