Exciting part-time opportunity available! We are seeking an upbeat, energetic Registered Dental Hygienist with great people and clinical skills to become part of our welcoming team. Our practice is well established and offers a great experience for staff and as well as patients. Join our dental team and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, and current dental conditions
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while ensuring proper aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols
Monitor infection control procedures, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a sterile environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for charting, scheduling, and record management
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on education, assessment, and building trustful relationships
