Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized according to OSHA standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, managing appointment scheduling, and creating a welcoming environment.
Skills
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix or similar practice management systems .
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create positive patient experiences.
