Job Description
Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part-Time, 2 Days/Week
Variety. Purpose. Impact.
This is where your skills make a difference every single day.
If you’re looking for a role where no two days feel the same—and your work truly matters—you’ll want to take a closer look.
At Emergency Dental of Jacksonville, patients come to us in pain, unsure, and needing help right away. We turn urgent visits into lasting patient relationships. What happens next matters—and our hygienists play a key role in shaping that experience.
Our hygiene program is already built, strong, and growing. We’re adding a second hygienist to work alongside an experienced hygiene teammate.
Care guides us. Purpose fuels us. Service fulfills us.
And that shows up in how we treat every patient.
Your Impact Here Is Bigger
This isn’t just about cleanings—it’s about connection.
You help transform emergency patients into long-term patients
You build trust through individualized, patient-first care
You educate in a way that makes patients want to take ownership of their health
You don’t follow insurance—you follow what’s clinically right
You’re not limited to one lane—you’re part of the full patient journey
You don’t just treat—you help build patient retention and trust
This is hygiene with autonomy, influence, and purpose.
What You’ll Do
Deliver comprehensive hygiene care.
Work alongside another hygienist in an established program with a proven patient-care and retention model.
Perform detailed assessments and support clinically sound, patient-first treatment planning, taking ALL radiographs/intraoral photos.
Provide individualized care—no cookie-cutter approach
Educate patients clearly so they understand the why behind their care
Assist doctors when needed (including numbing, procedures, and follow-ups)
Jump in as part of the team—room turnover, sterilization, whatever helps the day run smoothly
Who Thrives in This Role
An active, licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) (Florida)
Current CPR license
Someone who understands that great hygiene builds long-term patient relationships
A team player
Strong communicator who can connect quickly and genuinely
Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Motivated by making a lasting impact
Why Emergency Dental?
Be part of something bigger – Help build a patient retention model from emergency care
Join something that is already working – Step into a strong, established hygiene program that is expanding because of its success
Work alongside another hygienist – Collaborate, share the workload, and grow within a team
Clinical autonomy – Do what’s right, not what’s covered
Never monotonous – Every day brings something different
Team-first culture – Everyone contributes, everyone matters
Build-your-own schedule – Flexibility with ownership
The Details
Pay: Pay: $45.00 – $52.00 per hour (based on experience and availability)
Additional Compensation: 3% of hygiene production
Schedule: Flexible / build-your-own (Monday-Friday)
Type: Part-time, 2 days/week or 15-20 hrs/week
This role is a little different—on purpose.
It’s for the hygienist who wants to stay engaged, be part of a strong team, and make a real impact—not just go through the motions.
It’s for the hygienist who wants to grow, contribute, and operate at a higher level.
You’ll be joining a program with momentum, an established teammate beside you, and room to make an immediate impact.
If that sounds like you—
Apply today and step into something more.
Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
