Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a well-established practice looking for an outgoing, friendly candidate to join our busy, general dental practice in Kitchener for a Part-Time position on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays. Our ideal candidate must be comfortable multitasking and have excellent communication and computer skills. You must be able to articulate the benefits of treatment to patients and be committed to improving the oral health of our patients.

JOB OVERVIEW:
· New patient comprehensive oral exams
· Scaling and root planing
· Removal of stains, polishing and fluoride treatments
· Digital radiography
· Taking impressions for study models and bleaching trays
· Charting and probing patients, updating medical history
· Oral hygiene instructions to patients
· Educate patients about different dental treatment options
· Disinfecting and sterilizing instruments
