Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking for an exceptional Dental Hygienist in every way! We are a fast-paced and modern office with a fun, kind, and caring team looking to add to our practice of skilled professionals. Hours are flexible and to be negotiated during interview. Compensation is based on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Work independently and as a team
Educate patients on proper oral care
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Send letters to other doctors to maintain exceptional communication
Monitor and order supplies
Skills
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
A patient and friendly personality
Meticulous attention to detail
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s is a plus
Valid license to practice in Tennessee
Radiology
Nitrous Oxide
Local Anesthesia
