Registered Dental Hygienist

Stanley Smiles Dental is a thriving, single doctor general dentistry practice serving the Stanley community with personalized, high quality care. We pride ourselves on a friendly, low stress office culture where every team member is known by name - and every patient feels it.

We are looking for a skilled hygienist who wants flexibility today with the potential for something more. This position starts at 1-2 days per week and has a clear path to full-time as the practice grows.

Your Role at a Glance
Perform thorough prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
Complete periodontal charting and assessments
Place sealants and apply fluoride treatments
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Take and review dental radiographs
Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient education
Collaborate closely with the doctor on patient care plans
Contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications
Active NC Dental Hygiene license (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Experience with dental practice software a plus
Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control standards.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about dental care and foster positive client relationships.

Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient comfort and safety standards

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
