Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part-Time with Growth Opportunity
Our busy, two-doctor dental practice is looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-trained and supportive team. We take pride in providing outstanding patient care while fostering a positive, family-first workplace where our team members are valued and encouraged to grow.
We work in a beautiful, recently renovated office featuring all new equipment, top-of-the-line instruments, and the technology needed to provide excellent care. We are committed to creating an environment where both our patients and team members thrive.
We are currently hiring for a part-time position of two or three days per week, with the opportunity to expand to three or four days per week when our current part-time hygienist retires at the end of the year.

An effective communicator who can confidently educate patients about their oral health and treatment needs
A collaborative team player who enjoys working alongside doctors and fellow team members
Organized, dependable, and able to manage time efficiently
Comfortable with technology and proficient with computers and digital dental systems
Clinical Skills & Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will be able to:
Administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide
Diagnose and treat periodontal disease appropriately
Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing procedures
Place dental sealants
Take excellent diagnostic digital radiographs
Create thorough and accurate clinical documentation
Recognize, discuss, and help patients understand recommended dental treatment
Candidates should be comfortable discussing treatment options including, but not limited to:
Restorative treatment (fillings, crowns, and bridges)
Orthodontics (traditional bracket and wire treatment and Invisalign)
Whitening procedures (custom trays and Zoom Whitening)
Endodontic treatment
Implant procedures and restorations
Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software and iTero scanners is a plus, but not required. Laser certification is also highly valued.
