Duties
Prophy’s adults and children
Laser assisted periodontal therapy (SRP + Laser Therapy)
Laser Bacterial reduction
Utilization of Biolase Laser
Cold Sore Treatment
GBT (guided biofilm therapy) utilizing airflow and piezon technology.
FMX/Recall Radiographs
Itero Lumina Pro for wellness scans
Saliva Testing
Arestin
Fluoride
Co-diagnosing
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.
Follow strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to ensure a safe environment for all.Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental x-rays.
Proficiency in EHR/EHR management systems such as Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care.
Excellent communication skills for client interaction, patient education, and team collaboration.
