Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and adherence to safety protocols.
Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems (Dentrix) for accurate documentation of patient information, treatment notes, and medical records.
Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques, sterilization of equipment, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in general dentistry setting preferred
Proficiency with dental software platforms (Dentrix) for charting and documentation management.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about dental care practices.
Commitment to healthcare infection prevention and control practices, including proper use of PPE and sterilization protocols.
