Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of patients’ teeth
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using Tracker or similar dental management software
Provide care tailored to pediatric patients when required
Ensure patient comfort and address their concerns with professionalism and empathy
Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient practice operations
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the province of practice
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is advantageous
Ability to work well within a team environment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
