Job Description
Are you passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences and helping people achieve their dream smiles? Meldrum Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-established practice in Orangeville, ON. This is a replacement position within our established orthodontic team.
We are seeking someone to cover maternity leave for approximately 12-18 months, with the potential for continued employment for the right candidate.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Support the orthodontist in delivering exceptional patient care throughout all stages of treatment
Perform orthodontic procedures including bracket bonding, banding, debonding, and arch wire changes
Insert, cement, and remove fixed and removable orthodontic appliances
Deliver clear aligners, perform attachment placement and removal, and monitor patient progress
Take high quality records including digital scans, photos, and radiographs
Provide personalized oral hygiene instructions and coach patients on elastics, appliance care, and compliance
Educate patients and parents on treatment expectations, timelines, and progress
Accurately chart procedures and maintain thorough clinical documentation
Collaborate with the team to support smooth clinic flow and an excellent patient experience
Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice

Previous orthodontic experience (required)
Current CPR certification
