Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through effective hygiene practices. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. We prefer someone full time (4 days per week) but are open to part time candidates as well. We want to prioritize someone that will be a good fit for the office.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients
Review and document patient records accurately and efficiently.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.

Utilize xray imaging systems to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic.

Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Experience
Maintaining accurate medical records is essential.

Must have proficiency in taking xrays, periodontal charting, caries detection, and treatment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members alike.
