Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans.
Assist in patient examinations by recording medical histories and vital signs.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and providing age-appropriate care.
Assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary, including appliance adjustments and patient instructions.
Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
Uphold infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA standards to ensure a safe environment for all.
Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist with knowledge of dental office procedures and patient care standards.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
Experience working with orthodontic treatments or pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations.
Bilingual abilities to serve both English-speaking and non-English-speaking patients effectively.
Knowledge of dental assisting techniques that support clinical efficiency.
