Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled, compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our low volume, easy paced practice.
At our office, we pride ourselves on providing top-quality patient care with state-of-the-art technology in a supportive, welcoming atmosphere. Our team uses the latest equipment- from digital imaging to EMS GBT, to Laser pocket disinfection- so that you can focus on what matters most: helping patients to feel comfortable and cared for.
We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills.
Passion for patient care and oral health education.
Enthusiasm for using the latest dental technology
A dog lover who is willing to work along our 5-year-old chocolate lab.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Perform thorough periodontal assessments with bacteriological testing and full periodontal charting.
Perform thorough dental cleanings and SRP in a periodontally centered practice.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Actively participate in the co-discovery process with the patient and the team.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient care experiences.
Requirements
Valid NH Hygiene License.
A plus if already with a laser certification.
Proven experience in a dental office is preferred but we are willing to train.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
