Registered Dental Hygienist Needed- Immediate start

Smiles Of Canada is currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental clinic in Ottawa. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and patient-focused professional who is looking to start immediately.

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and ensure a smooth flow of appointments
Provide customer service that promotes comfort and trust for patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Support the dental team with sterilization procedures and infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions
Experience
Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office setting is preferred
Proficiency with oryx or other dental practice management software is required
Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus
Bilingual skills is an asset
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to educate and comfort patients of all ages
Background in dental assisting or familiarity with clinical procedures will be beneficial
