Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients while performing essential dental hygiene duties. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Take and record vital signs and medical histories of patients.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and work areas following aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical records management.
Experience with Dentrix software is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong skills in patient care, communication, and interpersonal relations.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical imaging techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
